Jerk chicken is smoky, spicy, incredibly juicy, smothered in aromatics, still tender from low temperature cooking and wet brine, with a charred and smoky spice rub. Oxtail is brazed low and slow, meat melts in your mouth, tendons have stringy juicy texture. Caribbean food done differently in London, special because of smoke, char, and produce from Brixton Market. Incredibly special, homey business, no sign outside but packed inside."

Filling doesn't taste like much on its own, needs malt vinegar with chili for acidity. Very affordable, less than £7 for a hearty plate. Jellied eel is a true old school London delicacy, coagulation from eel itself, fatty, lots of bones, cooked long time to become jellofied. Tastes like not cleaning your fish tank for months and adding gelatin, cold and swampy."
